Michael Owen Predicts The Result As Chelsea Face Norwich

Chelsea need to get the three points against Norwich at Stamford Bridge this evening and Michael Owen is expecting the Blues to clinch a comfortable victory.

The BT Sport pundit does not believe the Canaries will put up much of a fight, considering their poor away record, and he thinks Frank Lampard‘s men could rack up the goals:

“Norwich have taken just 6 points out of a possible 51 away from home this season and I can’t see them adding to that paltry number at Stamford Bridge.”

“I fancy Chelsea to put the pressure on Leicester and Manchester United by securing the first three points of the week with a 4-1 win for the Blues.”

Considering Norwich are already relegated, it usually leads to one of two outcomes. The players will either down tools or play with the freedom that they have nothing to lose.

Chelsea fans will certainly be hoping for the former, and if they do seal a win, it will boost their chances of securing a top-four finish.

Manchester United’s draw against Southampton yesterday means their destiny is very much in their own hands but they must put in a performance tonight and not simply expect the Canaries to just turn up and roll over for them.
