Latest Chelsea Injury News And Expected Return Dates: Updates On Levi Colwill, Malo Gusto And 11 Others

Chelsea confirmed before the draw against Aston Villa that five players were close to returning to full training.

Levi Colwill (toe) hasn’t been seen in action for nearly two months. The defender last played against Brentford in early March.

However, the centre-back is closing in on his comeback, along with Christopher Nkunku, Lesley Ugochukwu (both hamstring), Robert Sanchez (knee) and Reece James (hamstring).

Out of those four, Sanchez is the likeliest to make the bench for the Spurs game, as he has been out for the least amount of time, but Colwill could also make the squad.

Expected Return Date – Thursday 2nd May v Tottenham
