Chelsea fullback Marc Cucurella has announced the birth of his baby daughter in a post on Instagram, which he posted on Wednesday evening.
The post shows two photos of his newborn daughter – suffice to say, she’s got a long way to go before she can grow hair like her father!
The 24-year-old tagged his partner, Claudia Rodríguez, in the post. This will be the couple’s third child together and their first daughter – they already have two sons. Rodriguez is a reported budding fashion designer who currently works in communications, according to her social media profile.
Cucurella captioned the post with: “Welcome to the family Bella❤️ 21/02/23 ✨.”
The post currently has over 21,000 likes on Instagram. Among those who liked the photo include a smattering of Cucurella’s past and present teammates, including Reece James, Thiago Silva and Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard.
Additionally, a number of Cucurella’s former and current teammates left a comment on the post. Tottenham fullback Pedro Porro, Cesar Azpilicueta and Carney Chukwuemeka were just a few of them.
Cucurella hasn’t had the best of seasons at Chelsea so far. While he’s looked effective going forward, the Spaniard has often looked frail defensively. However, he’s just 24, with plenty of time to develop before he reaches his physical prime.
