Photos that appear to show Chelsea’s new away kit have leaked online and it’s fair to say that most supporters are not particularly impressed with the design.
It’s a predominantly white shirt, with four horizontal teal coloured hoops which utilise the same pattern that is used on the collar of the home jersey. The shirt will reportedly come with white shorts and navy socks.
The new kit hasn’t exactly gone down well on Twitter, with many fans not liking the colours or the pattern that manufacturers Nike have gone with:

Some may argue that it will look better in person, but, combined with the huge ‘3’ logo, it is pretty garish and not something that people will want to wear.
Nike have certainly made some poor decisions with Chelsea’s kits since they took over from Adidas in 2017, and the American manufacturer shouldn’t expect their latest design to fly off the shelves.
