Chelsea have unveiled their new home kit for the 2021/22 season today and, needless to say, the new Nike design has not gone down well.
Leaked images first circulated at the beginning of March and, at the time, supporters were not happy with some of the choices made. Now, we can see the final product, opinions haven’t changed much, although a few on Twitter don’t think it is as bad as the initial mock-up:
Thumbs down

To be honest, the final design actually looks markedly worse than the originally leaked images. As well as the zig-zags, Nike have used a check pattern on the left-hand side of the shirt. Combined with the yellow trim, it looks pretty unattractive and not pleasant on the eye.
It may be the case that it grows on fans as the season goes on but, for now, a large section of supporters are not happy with the new home kit.
