‘This Is A No Brainer’ ‘Can Be The Next Mane’ Chelsea Fans On Social Media React As Lampard Weighs Up £12.8m Move

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is weighing up whether to trigger the club’s buyback clause on Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga, according to reports in England.

The Ivory Coast international has been performing well in Italy, having scored eight goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances this season, and the Blues are able to re-sign him for just £12.8m.

Fans on Twitter think Lampard would be wise to bring Boga back to Stamford Bridge this summer:

Boga has spoken out in recent days about being open to returning to Chelsea. He spent nine years at the London club but was unable to make his first team breakthrough due to the competition for places in the squad.

However, with both Willian and Pedro expected to leave on free transfers when their contracts expire at the end of the season, it could open up space for the 23-year-old.

Boga certainly does have the potential but it will be up to Lampard to decide whether he feels the player has what it takes to make it in the Premier League.
