Lyon wingback Malo Gusto has “arrived in London” to have his medical ahead of completing his switch to Chelsea, according to RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins.
The journalist, who broke the news that the Blues had agreed a fee for the player with Lyon worth €30m (£26m) plus add-ons, says the defender won’t play for Lyon this weekend:

Gusto will be loaned back to Lyon for the rest of the campaign, which means Chelsea fans won’t be able to see the 19-year-old in action for the London club until next season.
It is believed that Graham Potter’s side were happy to secure one of their long-term targets now, even if it meant he wouldn’t be available until the summer.
Gusto is expected to become Chelsea’s FIFTEENTH signing since the start of the campaign, and that doesn’t include the deal for RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.
