Premier League Side Look To Offer Chelsea Flop Way Out After Spanish Nightmare

Everton are looking to sign Chelsea outcast Michy Batshuayi on a permanent deal, according to reports in the UK.

Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev had recently revealed that they were close to agreeing a loan deal for the Belgian striker but the Blues are now holding out for a sale:

“There is full agreement with Batshuayi, with Valencia, but Chelsea are blocking the transfer. They only want a permanent sale for the striker, we want a loan, let’s see what happens.”

Batshuayi is still at Valencia but the Spanish club are keen to cut his loan spell short after failing to impress during the first half of the season.

The 25-year-old has scored just once in the league for Los Che and has just three goals for the La Liga outfit in all competitions.

Everton have been using Richarlison up front this campaign but the Brazilian is more comfortable playing out wide, and Marco Silva’s side may see Batshuayi as a solution.

The Chelsea forward does not have a future at Stamford Bridge with the Blues reportedly close to signing Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.
