Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva is hoping that his Brazilian international teammate Neymar will join him at Stamford Bridge this summer.
There have been some reports in France that the 30-year-old is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain, with it being suggested that Chelsea (along with Manchester United and Newcastle) would be among his likeliest destinations. When asked about Neymar, Silva was quoted as saying that he would tell him to make the switch to London:
“He has to go to Chelsea. If it happens, it will be for the best. He needs no comments… So far, I don’t know anything, but I hope it comes to fruition.”
Supporters on Twitter are, of course, excited about the possibility of Neymar moving to Stamford Bridge, while many have also praised Silva:

Whether there is any truth to these Neymar rumours, it remains to be seen. The Brazilian made the £200m switch to PSG from Barcelona five years ago, and there have been previous occasions where he has pressed for a move. However, it must be said, that the cost of the transfer would make owner Todd Boehley think twice about getting involved.
