Chelsea have passed up the opportunity to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer this summer, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.

The German, who has been capped 20 times by his country, has been put up for sale by PSG but the Blues have made it clear that they have “no interest” in signing the player:

Kehrer moved to Paris for £33m in 2018, with the player being touted for great things, but he has not kicked on as many would have hoped. Despite ostensibly being a centre-half, he played the majority of his games last season as a fullback, and he was in and out of the starting eleven, making only 16 league starts in total.

Chelsea are, though, believed to be interested in another PSG player. Presnel Kimpembe is reportedly a key target for manager Thomas Tuchel but it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman is willing to make the switch to Stamford Bridge.
