“Keen On Joining…” Nizaar Kinsella Makes Big Claim About Manager’s Interest In Chelsea Job

Julian Nagelsmann is “keen on joining” Chelsea, according to the Evening Standard reporter Nizaar Kinsella.

The usually reliable journalist says the former Bayern Munich manager does hold an interest in replacing Graham Potter:

At the time of writing, most reports have suggested that the Blues haven’t made formal contact with Nagelsmann and his entourage. However, that is likely to change.

There has been some speculation that the 35-year-old would prefer to wait until the end of the season before deciding on his next move.

With Bruno Saltor taking charge of Chelsea on an interim basis for the rest of the campaign, that really shouldn’t present an issue, especially as Champions League qualification is now well beyond the club’s reach.

Nagelsmann does have other suitors, including Tottenham, but considering his connections with Blues technical director, Christopher Vivell, who he worked with at RB Leipzig, you would think that his preferred destination would be Stamford Bridge.
