Chelsea have tabled a €30m (£25m) offer plus Kepa Arrizabalaga for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, according to reports in the Spanish media.
The Blues are actively looking for a new keeper, and with the Slovenian international being one of the best in the world, the news has gone down pretty well with supporters on Twitter:
If marina pulls this off she deserves a knighthood

Good deal if you ask me. Atleti won't mind this but they may ask for a little more. Either way, an offer is an offer and it is a good way to start.

Mate he’d be an incredible signing! If we get champions league football next year it’ll give us a better chance!

It is believed that Atletico would be reluctant to accept such an amount for Oblak and would demand a larger sum in order to agree a deal.
Whether the Blues would be willing to do so, it remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that it would be a tremendous coup if the London club were to secure the Atletico star.
The 27-year-old has made 242 appearances for the Spanish club, conceding only 163 goals and keeping a hugely impressive 133 clean sheets. If you measure that against Kepa’s record at Chelsea, there is no comparison with Oblak conceding, on average, 0.67 goals per match compared to Kepa’s 1.1.
