Former Spain manager Luis Enrique is waiting to see whether the Chelsea job becomes available, according to reports in the Catalan media.
The 52-year-old is said to be the top candidate for the Brazil post, but it seems he is keen on remaining in club football. Blues supporters on Twitter would very much back Enrique being appointed if current head coach Graham Potter is sacked in the coming days:
Iβd 100% take him

He'd be a huge upgrade over Potter and better than Poch, hope we get him if we don't get Flick or Zidane

I have been thinking he is the right man for us

Enrique won the Champions League during his time as manager of Barcelona but his Spain side did suffer a shock defeat to Morocco in the World Cup last year.
In terms of experience at the top level, though, there is a night and day difference between him and Potter.
There are other names in the frame if Chelsea do decide to look for a new coach. Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been mentioned, while the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Ruben Amorim also can’t be ruled out.
