Chelsea, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund are all keeping tabs on Weston McKennie’s situation at Juventus, according to reports in Italy.
It is believed that Juve will consider selling the American international for between €20m (£17.7m) and €25m (£22.2m) if they get a positive update on Paul Pogba’s fitness.
McKennie performed well for the USA at the World Cup, having shone against England in the 0-0 draw during the group stages.
The 24-year-old’s energy and work rate mean he would be a good fit for a position in Graham Potter’s team. The Chelsea boss likes to have box-to-box midfielders who can offer just as much off the ball as in possession.
Whether McKennie is a priority target for the Blues, it is unlikely. The current focus is on recruiting Enzo Fernandez from Benfica while the club are also said to have identified four other midfield targets.
With Juventus seemingly willing to offload McKennie on the cheap, though, it could be one to keep an eye on.
