Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has started all five of the Blues’ Premier League matches so far this campaign.
The Italian international has dictated play from the middle of the park but not everyone has been won over quite yet.
The deep-lying playmaker moved to Stamford Bridge along with Maurizio Sarri in July and no doubt has the full trust of the new manager to implement the “Sarri-ball” playing style.
Some fans on Twitter are worried that they could be exposed defensively against some of the ‘big six’ with Jorginho as the only holding midfielder:
Can still do better!

Only weak point is physicality… He lacks it.

Jorginho is the Calmest CMF in the EPL. His composure and passing range is Exceptional.
But, he’s lacking in his defensive duties.— Jonathan Ameh ?? (@iamMista_jay) 17 September 2018
So far so good, but man’s game is just too basic! No long passes, only a few chances create also

The only ‘Regista’ alive. Pirlo passed the baton.

Jorginho is a very unique type of player. In Italy, they call them “Regista’s”; a midfielder who can pass the ball accurately from a holding midfield role, keeping the ball and starting attacks from deep.
The physicality of the Premier League will mean the £50m signing will take some time to adapt, and it will be interesting to see how he performs over the long-term.
