Chelsea winger Pedro put in a man of the match performance in the 2-0 win over Tottenham last night.
The Spaniard was preferred ahead of Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi, and the wide man justified manager Maurizio Sarri’s decision to start him on the right flank.
Fans thought Pedro had one of his best games of the season against Spurs:
Best game of his in ages, even when his peformances arent good he always puts in the effort! #CHETOT #CFC #ChelseaFC

I’ll hold my hands up and admit I wasn’t sure when I saw that he was starting over Hudson-Odoi and Willian but wow, he proved me wrong! ? One of his standout performances in a Chelsea shirt at the bridge. He was everywhere last night and fought like a true warrior. Deserved! ?

The Spanish international scored the opening goal, but it was also his all-round game that he was being praised for.
It was a much-needed win for Pedro and his Chelsea side. They remain in sixth place behind Arsenal and Manchester United in the battle for fourth, but they have a game in hand over their rivals.
The Blues will have their second London derby in a row when they face Fulham on Sunday at Craven Cottage. It should be a good opportunity to get thee points considering their opponent’s form.
However, Sarri’s side will have to overcome a poor run away from home. They last won on the road in the league back in late December.
