“He’s Gonna Leave Chelsea” Romano Provides Update On Star’s Future

Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez will join Roma at the end of the season, according to the Guardian‘s Fabrizio Romano.

The reliable Italian journalist has confirmed that the Spanish international will move to Italy on a free transfer once the Premier League campaign comes to an end:

Pedro has only just signed a short term extension with the Blues to keep him at Stamford Bridge until the end of July, with his previous deal expiring on June 30th.

However, it was always felt that the 32-year-old would move on to pasture’s new this summer after seeing his game time reduced under manager Frank Lampard.

Pedro has started just eight Premier League games this season, and with the impending arrival of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax, his prospects for playing next campaign looked slim.

The Spaniard will leave London having won the league, the FA Cup and the Europa League. He could also win another FA Cup before this season is over as well.
