Chelsea are considering whether to make a move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero in the summer, according to reports in England.
The 32-year-old’s contract at the Etihad Stadium expires in June and he will be available on a free transfer. With the forward said to be interested in staying in the Premier League, the Blues are thought to be seriously weighing up an offer. Supporters on Twitter are not sure what to make of the story:

That will be Massive! I’d love him to. Just like Suarez, he is an unfinished article. Got lots of goals still left in him.

He can be the specialist striker. Much like Silva can't play every game but will be massively beneficial if Tuchel can get the best out of him.

It’s probably best to take these reports with a large pinch of salt for now, until more reliable sources come forward to confirm whether Aguero is a genuine target for Chelsea.
The London club are believed to be seeking a new number nine but most journalists have claimed that Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland would be the main priority.
City are also after the Norwegian international, so were the striker to move to the Etihad, it would make Aguero’s departure all the more likely. It would be interesting to see how things play out at the end of the season.
