Porto are reportedly still considering whether to make a loan move for the Italian. The Portuguese transfer window shuts on October 25th and they have more time to make their decision.
After losing Alex Telles to Manchester United, they do need a left-back so Emerson could well make the switch to Portugal in the coming weeks.
