Chelsea attacking midfielder Tino Anjorin put in a confident display in the Blues’ 1-1 draw against FK Krasnodar yesterday evening.
Manager Frank Lampard used the Champions League group stage dead rubber to field some fringe players, as well as a couple of young players, and Anjorin was more than up to the task.
The 19-year-old started off quietly on his European debut but he grew into the game and supporters on Twitter were very impressed by what they saw of him at Stamford Bridge last night:
What a player

There were a lot of neat little touches from Anjorin and good link-up play with those around him. As the match wore on, he began to move into spaces to receive the ball, rather than focusing simply on his positional play and defensive duties on the left-wing.
One notable highlight was a pass to Kai Havertz who could have made more of his chance and, if Anjorin shows that creativity on a regular basis, Lampard may well utilise him more over the coming weeks.
