Turkish Giants Reportedly Lining Up Lucrative Offer For Out Of Contract Chelsea Star

Galatasaray are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to reports in the English media.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and the Turkish club could offer the playmaker a sizeable salary to move on a free transfer.

Fabregas has moved down the pecking order since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri as manager in the summer. He was out injured with a knee injury at the start of the campaign but he has been an unused substitute in the club’s last four Premier League games.

The 31-year-old will likely start in the Europa League against BATE Borisov tonight, but his lack of a game-time may see him leaving when his current deal expires.

Sarri has stated that he rates Fabregas very highly but he is competing for a place against Jorginho as the ‘Regista.’ Further forward, he also has to contend with the trio of Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley.

Galatasaray are not the only team interested in the former Spanish international with AC Milan and MLS clubs also reportedly keen on the midfielder.
