Chelsea are considering AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali as a potential replacement for Jorginho, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Blues’ vice-captain is expected to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires in June and it seems as though Graham Potter’s side are targeting a fellow countryman to replace him.
Tonali is eight years younger than his Italian international teammate, and he plays in exactly the same position, so most fans on Twitter would be happy to see him make the switch to London:
This would be a massive signing

Although Tonali is a regular starter for Milan, he has been linked with moves away from the San Siro over the past few months, with Arsenal having been mentioned as a potential suitor during the summer.
Considering Chelsea are also after one of Tonali’s teammates, Rafael Leao, it would be a surprise if the Serie A champions were prepared to sell two key players to the Blues.
