‘The More Germans The Better’ ‘Make It Happen RN’ Chelsea Fans React As Report Names 3 Of Lampard’s Potential Replacements

Chelsea are considering hiring a German-speaking manager if they decide to dispense with the services of Frank Lampard, according to The Athletic.

The Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Leicester last night means the club are now eighth in the table, leaving Lampard hanging onto his job at Stamford Bridge.

It is believed that former PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel, RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann and ex-Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick are all being considered as possible replacements. Fans on Twitter would be open to one of the trio taking the post:

You can see the club’s thinking as they want to get the most out of expensive summer signings Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.

Whether Lampard will get more time to turn things around, we shall see. There weren’t a lot of positives from the Leicester loss and he will need some good performances against Luton and Wolves in order to save his job.
