Personal Terms Need To Be Agreed

Erling Haaland

This might sound a bit obvious but there had been talk earlier this year that Haaland was demanding around £600,000 a week to make the move to the Premier League.

Such a number may not scare off the two Manchester clubs but Chelsea do have a more sensible wage structure. Paying over the odds in terms of salary could have destabilized the dressing room with other players demanding more money if they got wind of what Haaland was earning. It means the Norwegian would have to agree to more reasonable personal terms for a deal to go through.
