Richarlison hints at Chelsea move after cryptic tweet

Watford forward Richarlison has set the Premier League alight since his move in the summer. The Brazilian cost the North London side £11.2m when they signed him in the summer from Fluminense, a rather large fee for a relatively unknown star.

But that fee looks to be a bargain based on his current performances for the Hornets so far this season, with the 20-year-old scoring 5 goals in his first 14 appearances.

It’s not just his goals that have raised eyebrows though, the forward looks like he is at the focal point at every attack and looks like such a danger going forward.

His early rise to stature in the Premier League has caught the eye of many of Europe’s top clubs, none more than Chelsea, who have been rumoured to be interested in signing the forward.

With that in mind, the Brazilian star sent a section of Twitter into meltdown after he sent a cryptic message to Eden Hazard.

The youngster uploaded a picture of their meeting when Watford travelled to Stamford Bridge on October 21st, which is strange when considering the Hornets have played five Premier League matches since.

When Watford manager Marco Silva was asked about Richarlison’s future after the club’s defeat to Manchester United, he said: “For us to improve as a club we need to sign players with ambition.

“I want everyone in the club to work hard and if they achieve something else in their careers, then that’s normal.

“While they are at Watford they need to give 100 per cent.

“To do well in their careers is fantastic for us as a club and also for the player.”
