Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was given the man of the match award by the Premier League for his performance against Fulham yesterday.
The Spaniard was recalled to the starting line up by manager Maurizio Sarri and helped ensure the Blues secured a 2-1 win with a number of good saves.
Fans on Twitter were happy with Kepa’s display:

His saves were class but what a shame we couldn’t keep a clean sheet due to bad tracking of players…emerson should’ve been there. He wasn’t quite as good yesterday as he was against city in the league cup final. Though, glad we managed to pull through. Onwards we go.

What a save that was to deny Mitrović in the closing moments! ? I really thought he was going to score and based on how we played in the second half yesterday, you would say Fulham probably deserved a draw but Kepa came to the rescue ? That’s why he’s our first choice keeper ?

After the Carabao Cup Final controversy, Sarri has certainly dealt with the Kepa situation in the right manner. The 24-year-old is his number one goalkeeper but he had to show his authority by dropping him against Tottenham.
After also apologising and being fined, there was no reason why Kepa shouldn’t have been reinstated to the side. The performance at Craven Cottage showed why the club shelled out £72m on him.
The player, manager and the club will now want to put the whole saga behind them, as they seek to progress in the Europa League against Dynamo Kiev on Thursday evening.
