Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile has “completed his medical” ahead of sealing his move to Chelsea, according to journalist Nathan Gissing.
The Blues have reportedly agreed to pay €37m (£32.5m) to sign the France international and Gissing has said things are now progressing for the deal to be finalised very soon:

The approach for Badiashile was somewhat surprising considering that Graham Potter’s side had been actively pursuing RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol for many months.
Although Chelsea may still make an offer for the Croatian international as well, the fact that Badiashile is also a left-footed centre-back does reduce that possibility.
The Monaco star has been tracked by a number of other Premier League teams, including Manchester United, but the Blues made a quick move for the defender ahead of the January transfer window.
At 21 years of age, he is still not the complete package, but he does have a lot of potential to unlock.
