Chelsea and Leicester are £20m apart on the transfer fee for centre-back Wesley Fofana, according to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs.
It is believed that the Foxes are holding out for around £80m to £85m for the France Under 21 international but Blues fans on Twitter are now confident that a deal will be agreed:

I suspect we offered £55m and they want £75m so £65m will get the deal done

Things do appear to be moving pretty swiftly as Chelsea look to get a deal in place for Fofana, and it seema as if the club are prepared to pay a significant amount of money to secure the defender’s signature.
Some may be taken aback by the size of the fee involved but you do have to remember that the centre-half only signed a new contract earlier this year, and Leicester are very reluctant to sell.
Fofana is still only 21 years of age and his potential is such that paying over the odds for him now could still turn out to be a good decision in the long run.
