Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly put in a very poor performance against Manchester City in the FA Cup at the weekend.
The 31-year-old, who was signed for £33m in the summer, struggled throughout the game and gave away the second penalty which sealed a 4-0 win for the Blues’ opponents.
Koulibaly was the most senior player in an inexperienced backline, but he was arguably the worst performer of the lot, and some fans on Twitter are already asking whether he should be sold:

Koulibaly should have stayed in Serie A, he has been beyond horrible for Chelsea since he joined, aside the wonderful goal against Spurs, nothing special has come from him.

It's amazing how Koulibaly plays with Humphreys, Hall and Trevor in a back four but he is the worst out them all.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Koulibaly has really struggled to get to grips with the pace of the English game. He has made plenty of rash challenges, has been caught out of position and his passing has left a lot to be desired.
There is always a bedding-in process when arriving at the new club but the Senegalese international is a well-established player. If you compare him to his teammate Thiago Silva, who is seven years older, it’s not an excuse that carries much weight.
