Chelsea’s 2020/21 home kit was only released a matter of months ago but reports regarding next season’s shirt are already surfacing online.
Footyheadlines have been a reliable source for leaked kit information over the past few years, and they report that the Blues will be using yellow in the 2021/22 design.
It is believed it will be similar to the kit used for the FA Cup anniversary shirt last season, and supporters on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the news:
Love it ?

I love the blue and yellow. They must have learnt how popular the limited retro kit was last year

Nike have been making some bold design decisions with regards to Chelsea’s shirts in recent years, not all have paid off, and the use of yellow for the trimming in the new jersey will almost certainly split opinion.
The American manufacturer have not been conservative in their choices, though. Whether you see that as a good or bad thing depends on your own taste but at least they are not bland.
