Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will sign a new five-year contract with the club, according to the Daily Mail.
The deal will see the teenager earn £100,000 a week which could almost double over the length of the deal if certain conditions are met.
It is believed manager Frank Lampard has been integral to Hudson-Odoi deciding to remain at Stamford Bridge. Fans on Twitter are very happy to hear that the 18-year-old is likely to be staying:
Literally music to my years.. I truly believe he can become our best ever player the potential is so clear

A few supporters were, though, questioning the amount he will be paid:
Seriously that's way too much.
It should be btw 75 to 85k.— Miracle (@Mirack007) 18 July 2019
He’s holding us to a ransom…

With Hudson-Odoi’s contract running out in under twelve months, and with Bayern Munich ready to pounce, Chelsea will have done well if they have managed to get the player to sign on the dotted line.
It is a huge salary that the Blues have reportedly offered but, if he realises his potential over the coming years, the investment will be well worth it.
