Leeds V Chelsea: Preview, Team News And Betting Odds

Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Everton on Monday means Thomas Tuchel‘s side are in pole position to secure a Champions League place.

It has been an incredible start to life as manager for the German, who is now unbeaten in his first eleven matches in charge of the Blues, but they will be facing another big test this weekend when they play Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds.

The Whites are, however, going into the game off the back of two consecutive defeats against Aston Villa and West Ham so Tuchel’s team will be favourites on Saturday.

In terms of team news, Chelsea have just one injury doubt, with Tammy Abraham currently suffering with a knock to his ankle, which kept him out of the matchday squad for the victory against Everton.

Leeds have five fitness concerns heading into the weekend. Jamie Shackleton (groin), Pablo Hernandez (muscular) and Pascal Struijk (knock) are doubts, while Robin Koch (knee) and Adam Forshaw (hip) have both been ruled out.

The bookmakers have Chelsea as the favourites with William Hill pricing them at 3/4 for the win. A draw is 3/1 with Betfred while a victory for Leeds is 19/5 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to Chelsea
