Latest Chelsea Injury Report: Updates On Jorginho, Lukaku And Kovacic

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho was substituted fifteen minutes from the end of the 3-0 win over Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The Italian didn’t look comfortable after being replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but manager Thomas Tuchel did look to play down any fears that he could miss the Champions League clash against Juventus.

It is believed that Jorginho was only suffering from muscle cramps, rather than any injury, but it remains to be seen whether he is fit to start at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

Romelu Lukaku has recovered from an ankle problem but Tuchel says the Belgian striker’s participation in the Juve game will be dependent on him coming through a training session today.

Mateo Kovacic remains out of contention due to a hamstring issue he picked up before the last international break, and he is not expected to return before Sunday evening’s match in the Premier League against Manchester United.
