Latest Chelsea Injury Report: Updates On Chalobah, Christensen, Loftus Cheek And 3 Other Players

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah suffered a suspected hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw versus Liverpool yesterday evening.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Jorginho with 20 minutes to go at Stamford Bridge and he is a major doubt for the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham on Wednesday.

Andreas Christensen remains sidelined with a back problem that he sustained in the 1-1 draw versus Brighton last week, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is still not back in first-team training after picking up the virus and an ankle injury.

Timo Werner is not physically well enough to make his comeback as he struggles to overcome the after-effects of the virus, so a return for the Spurs clash looks unlikely at this stage.

Reece James has avoided surgery on a torn hamstring but he will still be absent for the best part of two months. Ben Chilwell is unlikely to play again this season following an operation on an ACL injury.
