Latest Chelsea Injury Report: Two Players Poised To Return For Fulham Clash

Chelsea right-back Reece James is expected to be fit when the Blues take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening.

The 21-year-old has not featured since the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Boxing Day due to a hamstring injury but he should be available to start against the Cottagers.

Manager Frank Lampard will also be able to welcome back Andreas Christensen. The Danish international has been sidelined since picking up a knee problem in the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa but he has now returned to full training.

N’Golo Kante remains a doubt for the Fulham game, with the Frenchman having missed the 4-0 win over Morecambe in the FA Cup at the weekend due to a hamstring injury.

It is not believed to be a serious issue so there is a chance that he’ll make a swift return to action, but Lampard may not want to take a risk with a key member of the first-team squad.
