Chelsea are interested in signing Leeds United goalkeeper Ilhan Meslier, according to RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins.
The journalist, who broke the story that the Blues had agreed a deal to sign Wesley Fofana, says that Graham Potter’s side are “keeping an eye” on Meslier, along with Newcastle and Bayern Munich:

Meslier is still a young keeper at 22 years of age, but his 6ft 6 frame makes him a very imposing presence in goal, with many tipping him to be France’s number one in the not-too-distant future.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a new shot-stopper, with Edouard Mendy having recently rejected a new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge.
With the Senegalese international expected to leave at the end of the season, the Blues are likely considering Meslier as a potential replacement.
At the moment, it is believed Leeds have not set an asking price to sell the Frenchman, as they are keen on keeping hold of him, but they will find it hard to retain his services with interest in the player growing.
