Chelsea are weighing up whether to steal Mykhaylo Mudryk away from Arsenal, according to reports in the English media.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with the Shakhtar Donetsk winger in recent months but, despite opening negotiations ahead of a possible transfer, they have yet to reach an agreement over a fee.
Mudryk’s asking price is believed to be a staggering €100m (£89m), and Blues supporters on Twitter are not sure if he would be worth the outlay:

Don’t think we’d have a chance there, but I’m also not sure he’s really worth the required fee

He would be an asset to us for many years to come. He is the future CR7. Please @todd_boehly @ChelseaFC

The Ukrainian international is undoubtedly an extremely exciting young talent. He has pace to burn and, at 21 years of age, he still has a lot of potential to unlock.
With Chelsea keen to strengthen their forward line, it makes sense that they would be considering Mudryk, as they have also targeted AC Milan’s Rafael Leao in the past. At this stage, though, Arsenal are firm favourites for the Ukrainian forward’s signature but things change quickly in football.
