Chelsea have now prioritised the signing of Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku ahead of Erling Haaland, according to reports in the English media.
The Blues feel that the Belgian international is a more realistic target for the summer transfer window with the forward expected to be available for £90m.
Supporters on Twitter are very much divided on Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge, with some believing he is exactly what Thomas Tuchel’s side need, while others feel there are better options on the market:

Spending £90m on a player that turns 28 in May doesn’t seem to be great business on the face of it, considering he didn’t exactly set the world alight when he last played in the Premier League for Manchester United.
However, with Haaland expected to cost £130m and, with there being no guarantee that he will move this summer, Lukaku is the safer bet. The Belgian has scored 27 goals in 40 appearances this season, and Inter’s financial situation means they will be open to selling up.
