Chelsea forward Kai Havertz had a poor game against Manchester United last night, missing a number of chances that could have given the Blues the win at Old Trafford.
As manager Thomas Tuchel eluded to after the game, the German international has gone off the boil recently and fans on Twitter have been having their say on the player’s dip in form:
I have always said it he's average

Like it was once or twice? Okay First half chances forgiven… 3v1 in the second half and couldn’t even decide what to do on time

He’s not been of himself after the UCL exit. He should put himself together and come back stronger. We’re with you champ 💙

Havertz’s performances have been rather erratic at times this campaign and, while he has certainly improved on his first season at Stamford Bridge, his lack of consistency remains a major bone of contention among supporters.
Of course, it is important to remember that he is only 22 years of age, and he may simply need to mature further as a player to find his true level.
Fans will, though, be hoping he can rediscover his touch in front of goal before the FA Cup final against Liverpool next month.
