Chelsea are reportedly set to hold talks with Inter Milan about signing goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The Blues are said to be keen on recruiting the Cameroon international as their new number one, and they are prepared to offer either Kepa Arrizabalaga or Edouard Mendy in exchange. Fans on Twitter are very much against a move for Onana, who they feel isn’t better than the keepers that are already at the club:
He’s not better than Mendy.

Rather go for Maignan tbh

Onana is a horrible Goalie.

Onana is a Kepa 2.0

Common player. It's not an upgrade on what we already has.

Not a good choice.

Andre Onana is not an upgrade on Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga or Edouard Mendy. No serious club should consider such proposal. There are better options for Chelsea in the first choice goalkeepers of AC Milan, Borrussia Dortmund and Valencia FC to choose from.

It is believed that Inter will demand around €40m (£35.5m) for Onana, despite the fact that the Nerazzurri signed the shot-stopper on a free transfer last summer.
From the sound of things, Chelsea will look to make a part-exchange offer first but there are no guarantees that Inter would be open to such a deal.
The Blues do have alternatives in case a move for Onana doesn’t go ahead. They are also reportedly scouting Brentford’s David Raya, Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel and Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili.
