Hazard jokingly digs at Morata for his finishing

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has jokingly told teammate Alvaro Morata that he needs to improve his finishing with his feet, after the Spaniard scored his third headed goal for the club last weekend.

Morata scored the opener for the Blues in their 2-1 victory away to Leicester City, adding to his headed goal tally which extended from the games against Burnley and Everton.

It means that all of the goals he has scored for Chelsea have come via his head, something that Hazard said he will need to change. However, the Belgian was full of praise for the club-record signing, saying that the Spanish international is a top player.

“Like you saw, I saw he is a good player, I saw that he scores a lot with his head… now he needs to score with his feet,” said Hazard after the 2-1 victory over Leicester.

“He is a top player. He can score every time. When he scores, we win the game so I think he is good.”

“He is in good form, even in the national team he scored three times so I hope that for Chelsea, he can score a lot of goals.”

Hazard came off the bench to make his first appearance of the season for Chelsea after fracturing his ankle at the beginning of the summer, and the Belgian international says he feels ready to be back in the team.

“I’m back and we took three points so it is a good evening for me. I feel ready, ready to be part of the team.”

“I had a chance to play with the national team so I did a good job there. In the past months I have just been working hard to be fit and on Tuesday we have the Champions League so I am just happy to be back on the pitch.”
