Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would have been delighted by how his team reacted as they secured a 2-0 first-leg lead in their Champions League quarter-final tie against Porto on Wednesday night.

It has been an eventful week, with the surprise home loss to West Brom followed by a training ground incident involving Antonio Rudiger and Kepa Arrizabalaga. However, Tuchel has handled the situation exceptionally well.

Going into tomorrow’s game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, there are currently no injury concerns, although Thiago Silva will be suspended following his sending off against the Baggies.

For the Eagles, manager Roy Hodgson could be without seven players. James McCarthy is the likeliest to make his return from a groin strain, but James McArthur (calf), Nathan Ferguson (thigh), James Tomkins (head), Mamadou Sakho (thigh) and Nathaniel Clyne are all ruled out. Michy Batshuayi can’t play against his parent club.

At the bookmakers, Chelsea are the favourites with Betway pricing them at 11/20 odds-on for the win. A draw is currently 16/5 with William Hill while a victory for Palace is 13/2 at Betfair.
