Chelsea Talisman Becomes Real Madrid’s Top Summer Transfer Target

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard is now Real Madrid’s priority signing for the summer transfer window, according to the Evening Standard.

The Belgian has been consistently linked with a move to the Bernabeu over the past few years but the Spanish club have never formally made an offer for the player.

It seems that may change at the end of the season, though, with Real now making Hazard their top transfer target ahead of the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Chelsea will have to make a decision on the 28-year-old’s future in the summer when the midfielder will be heading into the final 12 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has already stated that he has made his mind up over his future, and with no new contract talks on the horizon, the Blues are understandably concerned that he may ask to leave.

With the club’s transfer ban, the departure of the Belgian talisman would be a massive setback, although they may be able to replace him in the summer if their punishment is postponed due to an appeal.
