Chelsea are planning to offer Cole Palmer a “lucrative” new contract as a reward for his outstanding maiden season at Stamford Bridge, according to The Telegraph.
The 21-year-old signed a seven-year contract when he moved to the Blues from Manchester City last summer, but he is currently earning only £80,000 a week. Due to his importance to the team, the club believe Palmer deserves a pay rise, and supporters on X agree with the decision to increase his salary:
Give him whatever he wants

Palmer has been incredible since arriving at Chelsea
Despite the Blues shelling out £42.5m on the England international, there wasn’t much fanfare surrounding his arrival. However, he soon made his presence felt with his performances.
As we close in on the final weeks of the season, Palmer has scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists in 35 appearances for Chelsea, which is no mean feat considering the club’s struggles in the Premier League.
He is among the favourites for the PFA Young Player of the Year
Palmer will be in contention for individual awards at the end of the season. He is clear frontrunner for the club’s Player of the Year prize but he will be considered for the PFA’s Young Player Award too.
Of course, there will be plenty of competition, with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Alejandro Garnacho and even Erling Haaland also potential nominees.
