Chelsea fans all feel the same way about the club’s new third kit

Chelsea fans couldn’t be happier with the club’s new third strip.

The teal blue strip, which was released earlier today, is the first to incorporate the futuristic NikeConnect technology.

Using the Nike app, owners of the kit can access products, customised content and exclusive experiences by connecting through the NikeConnect logo on the shirt label.

The technology has been used with NBA teams before, but comes to football for the first ever time with the Blues.

The shirt also contains an interesting dynamic print on it’s front. While at first it may seem no more than a simple pattern, upon closer inspection, an aerial depiction of Stamford Bridge and it’s surrounding areas can be seen.

A official club statement said the print represents “the DNA of the capital’s leading club” on it’s jersey.

Chelsea commercial director, Chris Townsend, also revealed his delight at the the new strip, and specifically the new technology courtesy of Nike.

He said: “This is a world first for football and highlights the strength of the relationship between Nike and the club. We hope our fans will enjoy tapping in to unlock exclusive Nike and Chelsea experiences and prizes as we make our way through the 2018/19 campaign.”

Matched with teal blue shorts and socks, the new strip has gone down an absolute treat with the fans …
