Chelsea fans have reacted angrily to their sides disappointing performance in the FA Cup third round.
Antonio Conte’s side were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw at Carrow Road by Championship side Norwich City, meaning the tie will now be decided in a reply in at Stamford Bridge at a later date.
Despite having 16 shots on goal, the Blues couldn’t find the Norwich net, and were fortunate not to have fell foul of the Canaries had it not been for first half misses from Josh Murphy and Alex Pritchard.
Club record signing Alvaro Morata was introduced late on, but could not break the deadlock.
Speaking after the game, Antonio Conte said: “It’s a bit frustrating. We knew the difficulty of the game. When you play away in this competition it’s not easy. It was a pity, but [we had] great commitment from our players. We tried to win the game but we must accept the final result.
“In the first half we had difficulty in attack but in the second half we created chances to score.
“We have to play another game – the schedule is busy.”
Conte seems not to be the only one who has been left frustrated …
Extremely poor game… Really disappointed at the team.. Was a good chance for players to proof their worth as a first team player..

This was the worst performance of Chelseafc this season. Will Chelsea please buy Mahrez from Leicester city and a proper striker who is a natural finisher

Very poor performance. Isn't it time Bakayoko is dropped for Drinkwater? Bakayoko is as clueless as he is sluggish.

we need more creative players to unlock defences we always rely on fabregas to create. we need a couple more. barkley will hopefully take the pressure off cesc. because barkley is creative

Chelsea fans were charged £15 at Norwich yesterday – but tickets are £30 for the replay. Not a massive amount but still…
