Chelsea “remain in talks” with Paris Saint-Germain about signing Presnel Kimpembe, according to the Evening Standard‘s Nizaar Kinsella.
The journalist claims that the Frenchman, who has been capped 28 times by his country, is still being pursued by the Blues along with Sevilla’s Jules Kounde:
Chelsea have upped their offer for Jules Kounde as Barcelona sell off stake in club’s merchandising to raise cash for the defender.

Kimpembe could cost around £50m, but the player is believed to be still unconvinced about making the switch to Stamford Bridge, due to his strong affiliation to PSG.
Kinsella reported earlier this week that the Blues have employed the help of N’Golo Kante and Thiago Silva in order to persuade Kimpembe into joining them in London.
If the move for the 26-year-old does falter, a bid for RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol is said to be on the agenda. The Croatian international was first linked with the Blues earlier in the summer, and he has been scouted extensively, but Leipzig are not expected to let him leave on the cheap.
