Malang Sarr will likely be sent out on loan by Chelsea if he signs on a free transfer, according to the Guardian‘s Fabrizio Romano.
The Frenchman played for Nice last season in Ligue One but it appears that the Blues don’t think he will be ready to play for the first team straight away, with a number of German teams keen on taking him on a temporary basis:
Chelsea are in talks also today with Malang Sarr agent to decide soon if signing him as a free agent. If Chelsea will buy Sarr, they’d consider to loan him out (many Bundesliga clubs are ready to aso for him). ? #CFC #Chelsea

Chelsea are known for signing youngsters and loaning them out but Sarr isn’t really in the same boat. He is 21 years of age and has over 100 appearances in the French top flight.
Considering the Blues have been vulnerable at the back, it was anticipated that the France Under 21 international could form a new centre-back partnership with the more experienced Thiago Silva.
However, from what Romano is telling us, it appears we may have to wait quite a long time before we see him playing in a Chelsea shirt.
