‘Might As Well Play 11 Outfield Players’ ‘Really Poor’ Chelsea Fans Fume As Liverpool Defeat Exposes ‘Biggest Problem’

Chelsea shipped five goals against Liverpool last night, and it has led to goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and the team’s defence coming under major scrutiny once more.

Scoring three goals at Anfield and failing even to pick up a point is quite a damning indictment of the issues that manager Frank Lampard is facing at the back. Fans on Twitter are in no doubt who should be replaced first:

Kepa was certainly at fault for at least two of the five goals that Liverpool scored. He did not move for Trent Alexander-Arnold’s freekick and did not cover himself in glory for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s strike either.

The Spanish international’s save percentage this season is woeful and the Blues are almost certainly scouting replacements ahead of the transfer window opening next week.

It must be said, though, that Kepa was not the only player to blame. The likes of Antonio Rudiger, Marcos Alonso and Kurt Zouma also performed very poorly.
