Chelsea midfielder Jorginho may have given away an extremely dubious penalty yesterday, but it didn’t take the shine off what was another excellent performance against Watford.
The Italian international’s superb vision and passing range was on full display in the opening minutes as he picked out Tammy Abraham with a sublime ball to put the Blues 1-0 up.
Supporters on Twitter were loving the ability that Jorginho showed for the pass:
was a thing of beauty

TV pundit Alan Shearer said it was the pass of the season so far, as he pointed out why the Italian was able to deliver the ball on a plate for Abraham:
“Watch this pass from Jorginho, he looks once, Tammy Abraham knows it’s coming, he looks again and then this is the pass of the season so far.”
Jorginho’s reputation has transformed since the beginning of last season, and his name is now being sung by the away support following a series of outstanding displays.
The 27-year-old has also been recognised for his leadership qualities with manager Frank Lampard having made him the club’s vice-captain. He has certainly proved all the doubters wrong.
